DESCRIPTION: Friday October 6th from 5-7pm\, our main floor and upstairs gallery will feature artwork by local artists Eric Sappington & Brittany Sheffield. This monthly event is free and open to the public. \nEric Sappington: I’ve lived on the Oregon coast for the last 27 years. I moved here from the Midwest to be inspired in my songwriting as well as my art. I paint whatever emotions I have in the moment I have been working on\, or working through. Most of the time I don’t think about what I’m painting\, I just do it. This can turn into a series or just a one off abstract blow out. The show is all about transitioning. Let’s see where it takes me.  \nBrittany Sheffield: I am a 33 year old wife and mother of four. I was born and raised in Tillamook. Art has always been a passion of mine even from a young age. This past year I started getting back into painting as an outlet and way to relax between work\, kids and school. I’ve really enjoyed finding things that have challenged me creatively. \n

DESCRIPTION:This is a fundraiser event for the Historic U.S. Coast Guard Boathouse in Garibaldi\, Oregon and will feature:\n\n– introduction and history about the Boathouse by Steve Denning\n– Sea Shanties by Pound Stone\n– Irish Dancers\n– Dinner catered by Garibaldi Portside Bistro\n\nAll proceeds from your ticket purchase will go directly to the Garibaldi Cultural Heritage Initiative in support of the Historic U.S. Coast Guard Boathouse for continued restoration of the space and providing educational opportunities for local school children utilizing the space.\n\nTickets are $85 and include dinner and complementary beverages\, choice of Pelican Sea’N Red ale\, hand selected wine choices by Grocery Outlet or non-alcoholic beverages.\n\nThere are a limited number of VIP tables available for $500\, seating for 5 max. These tables include front row seats to the entertainment\, 2 bottles of wine and a commemorative boathouse ceramic coaster set.  Individual VIP tickets are $125.
