To help support the reduction of identity theft crimes\, 1st Security Bank invites Tillamook County residents to shred and recycle sensitive documents that are no longer in use. You may bring up to 10 boxes or bags of paper to be shredded. Shredding is free and will be offered on a first come\, first served basis until the truck is full.

SUMMARY:30th Annual NVA Artisans Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Nestucca Valley Artisans are pleased to present their 30th annual Artisans Festival in Pacific City\, Oregon\, August 17-18\, 2024 from 10:00-4:00.  The NVA Festival is located at the Kiwanda Community Center\, 34600 Cape Kiwanda Drive Pacific City\,’ Oregon. The week-end art festival is free to the public. The event features 22 local Artisans and Artists showing a variety of art forms . The event has been a community and coastal favorite since the early 1990s. Returning artists are: Bill Cary (pottery)\, Arlon Gilliland (painting & masks)\, Dana Hulburt (acrylic paintings & calligraphy on driftwood)\, Victor Guschov (painting)\, Barb Haddad (ceramics)\, Alita Pearl (silver\, jewelry\, leather)\, Brendan Alex Phoenix (photographic art)\, Kent and Nancy Searles (lapidary\, wire wrapping\, ceramics)\, Merrie Jo Snow (painting & prints)\, Nancy and Malcom McEwen (oil\, acrylic\, gouche & woodwork)\, Tim Moore (nature photography)\, Catherine Hingson (watercolors)\, Taylor Blackman (mixed media)\, Candace Churchly (book arts & mixed media)\, Sue Miller (fused glass)\, Denise Clausen (calligraphy\, quilting)\, New participating artists: Shawn Geers (abstract acrylic\, mixed media)\, Walt Amacher (photography)\, Lori Bebard (stained & fused glass)\, Sharon Erb (watercolors). Come join the fun and go home with something beautiful! \nIn celebration of the 30th anniversary we will be exhibiting some of our favorite artists from past shows. Come see art work by Rose Perez\, Kate Saunders\, Wendy Thompson\, Mike Loney\, Karen Gelbard\, Mark Cavatorta\, Michael Soeby and Marilyn Burkhardt. DESCRIPTION:One more open mic this summer at the Bay City Art Center.\n\n\n\nIf you are looking to connect with other folks to work on a collaborative performance\, comment below and connect. For example you could meet at the BCAC on Wednesday nights during Open Art nights and also familiarize yourself with the venue\, if you are not already.\n\n\nAll ages are welcome\, If you have a kid that would like to perform\, get in touch! i’ll make sure to have kids peform early in the evening.\n\n\n\nThis event is brought to you to create a community\, give everyone a chance to stand in the spotlight. Connect with like minded folks. But also you might want to get even more involved. We always look for folks that maybe have experience in managing the soundsystem or want to learn.
