DESCRIPTION:Tillamook Vision Center is sponsoring the 2nd annual Find the Eye Treasure Hunt.  Opening day is Friday August 30th when shirts will be available to pickup and the first clues will start going out.  We have hidden a glass eye trophy out somewhere on public lands of Tillamook county and the first person to find it will win a prize.  If you are registered for the event and wearing your T-shirt you win the full $5\,000 prize; if you are not registered or wearing your shirt\, you can still hunt\, but the prize is lower at $1\,500. \nTo register and read all the rules\, boundaries and clues: \nHome \nFollow clues on the Tillamook Vision Center and Find the Eye Facebook and Instagram pages.

DESCRIPTION:Friday October 18th from 6-8pm \nThe Bay City Arts Center has an exciting new arrival! In the foyer of the BCAC\, you will discover a carefully curated collection of locally made art\, jewelry\, stickers\, keychains\, games\, novelties and fun mystery items– all inside a machine that once sold potato chips and candy bars. The outside was painted by Garibaldi artist Bryan Miller\, and features a technicolored set of tentacles. It’s one of the Rainy Day Fun Machines\, a creative vending machine project based on the North Oregon coast. \nMoving a vending machine is no small feat! Celebrate the successful installation of the Rainy Day Fun Machine at the launch party on Friday\, October 18 from 6-8PM. Artists and makers connected to the machine will be present with their larger-sized pieces. There will also be a DIY button-making station and free tarot readings!
