DESCRIPTION:Come join other members of the LGBTQIA community and our allies for a fun community event. Theme is Over The Rainbow. Dress code is from business casual to formal wear. On theme costumes allowed so long as appropriate (no dangerous parts/weapons\, too revealing/sexually inappropriate\, etc.). Please no sweats or light wash\, faded\, ripped jeans.  \nThis is a sober event. Light snacks\, dessert\, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. There will be a DJ and dancing\, a photo station\, and even an introvert corner. Possibly outdoor games if the weather allows.  \nEvent is for adults/non-students\, ages 18 years of age and up\, only. Teens have a separate event earlier the same evening. So grab your partner\, friends\, allies\, and your dancing shoes and come have some fun in community.  \nThere will be uniformed security present to help keep our event safe. We will also have local authorities on alert to patrol the area during the event for added safety. Please let us know if there is something more we can do to help make this a safer event so you feel comfortable attending. DESCRIPTION:Join Nestucca Neskowin and Sand Lake Watersheds Council (NNSLWC)\, Headlands Adventure\, and SOLVE in Pacific City on April 22nd from 10:00AM to 1:00PM for a beach cleanup to celebrate Earth Day! \nThis event is part of the annual Spring Oregon Beach Cleanup with SOLVE.  It is a statewide effort to improve our communities through beach cleanups\, litter cleanups\, tree plantings\, and restoration events; which we are all honored to participate in. \nPlease be prepared by dressing for any weather.  Bags and gloves will be provided\, but we encourage you to bring any equipment you might have such as your own gloves\, buckets\, grabbers\, and colanders to aid in the cleanup. \nMeet us in Pacific City near the boat ramp of the Cape Kiwanda parking area.  There is parking and public restrooms at Cape Kiwanda and also at the Bob Straub State Park or at the Tillamook County Boat Landing on Sunset Drive if you decide to do the cleanup further down the beach after signing in. \nNNSLWC and Headlands Adventures will have a booth to get supplies\, information\, and will be holding a raffle for volunteers with several great prizes. \nWe hope to see you there for this volunteer adventure!

After graduation\, he moved to Tillamook County in 1978 and began his work for the Oregon Department of Forestry. Currently\, he is teaching credit and community education classes at Tillamook Bay Community College and is helping non-industrial private forest landowners through his business\, Oregon Natural Forestry.\n\nDuring the Science Pub event\, Dave Wells will answer the question\, what does the family have to do with the connection between water\, trees\, and fish? He will explain how the power of the story can help us explore those connections and how they can be observed through the changes to the Oregon Forest Practices Act as a result of the Private Forest Accord. He will show us how the water\, tree\, and fish connection is going to be changing as a result of the cooperative work of the forest family community.\n\nThe event is free and open to the public.
