The Maxwell Library Park Dedication signifies the Tillamook County Library’s commitment to providing enhanced spaces for the community to gather\, learn\, and explore. \nEsteemed speakers\, including local officials\, community leaders\, and representatives from the Tillamook County Library Foundation\, will share their thoughts on the importance of library spaces in the community. A grand ribbon-cutting ceremony across the newly built library stage will herald the official opening of Maxwell Library Park. \nAttendees of all ages will have the opportunity to partake in various engaging activities throughout the event. The band Tillamarimba will grace the stage\, delighting guests with their vibrant and captivating music. SUMMARY:2023 Nehalem Bay Crab Derby
DESCRIPTION:Scheduled to coincide with Free Fishing Weekend\, Kelly’s Brighton Marina will release 26 tagged crabs on Saturday morning and a $10 per ticket entry fee is required to participate in the Crab Derby\, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the sponsored charities – the MuddNick Foundation of Manzanita\, OR and Animal Haven By The Sea Rescue in Nehalem\, OR. All captured tagged crabs must be returned to the marina by 5:00pm and a drawing will be held to determine the top prize of $1\,000 cash. We are excited to welcome back the band “Uncle Jerry” from Cannon Beach who will perform at 6pm. Live music\, games\, crafts\, many great vendors\, raffles\, and a wide array of prizes round out an exciting event that we hope will become an annual tradition for all who attend!

That donation will matched by property owner 100%.\n\nOne free raffle ticket will also be given for each entrée purchased for the prize drawing.\n\nWe will also be selling raffle tickets for prizes donated by the property owner and all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to “Tides of Change” as well.\nTickets will be 6 for $5 or $1 each.\nSugar Plus Air Cotton will be on the pod Saturday with a portion of their proceeds going to the “Tides of Change” organization as well.\nAll winners will be notified by phone the following week.
