DESCRIPTION:Preschool storytime (PS) on Wed @ 10; developmentally appropriate for 3-5 yos; music\, stories\, interactive play and lots of laughs! In this class little begin to learn about a leader at the front of the room\, how to hold their wiggles\, listening and sitting still. When a child is transitioning from TT to PS my expectation is that they will sit for 5-10 minutes and then they might go play. I do not force them to sit still if they are not ready to. \nA couple of things about the children’s room that might set you at ease: \n\nThere is no expectation that it will be a quiet zone; kids are kids and they are allowed to act like themselves in the children’s room.\nOnly 2 hard and fast rules: No Running & No Screaming.\nIf your child needs a snack\, feed them!

Tools & gloves will be provided (or welcome to bring your own) by co-hosts Lower Nehalem Community Trust and Trail Keepers of Oregon.\n\nPlease wear sturdy shoes and dress for variable coastal weather. Parking is adjacent to the park and surfaces are gravel\, wood chip and grass. This park is owned by the City of Manzanita and home to Elk\, roaming Cougar and other wildlife. It is stewarded by the Lower Nehalem Trust with the help of the community.\n\nDirections to Elk Meadows Park: Turn south off of Hwy. 101 onto Bayside Gardens Road.
