DESCRIPTION:Please note that the hours of the sale are different on Saturday and Sunday Mother’s Day weekend.  Saturday\, May 13 is from 10-3 and Sunday\, May 14\, from 10-12.  Location of the sale is 43080 Northfork Rd\, Nehalem at the junction of Hwy 53 and Northfork Rd with horse statues in the front yard and real horses in the back yard! After the presentation\, we will take advantage of peak migration to see what winged wonders are moving through our area. \nBio: Ram Papish is a professional wildlife enthusiast whose varied career includes biologist\, educator\, photographer\, and wildlife artist. He specializes in the design and illustration of interpretive panels. An avid traveler\, Ram has a passion for observing and photographing wildlife worldwide. \nDetails: This will begin with a presentation followed by an outdoor excursion to Netarts Bay to take advantage of peak migration to see what winged wonders are moving through our area. All birding levels are welcome! \nWhere: Netarts area (Register for details) \nThis event includes both an indoor presentation and an outdoor excursion to Netarts Bay. The presentation will be from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. The excursion will start at 10:15 am and end at 12:30 pm. Please plan to drive/carpool to field birding locations. \nWhat to Bring: Please bring anything needed to keep you comfortable. The community center can be on the cooler side. The excursion will travel over paved\, gravel\, and sand trails and include navigating stairs to the beach.
