The event will be \nrepeated on Thursday\, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. in the Kids Make \nTheatre classroom at the Liberty Theatre in Astoria in partnership with \nthe Astoria Library and Liberty Theatre. This month’s story\, Owl Babies\, is \na delightful children’s classic – a gentle tale of three baby owls celebrating \nthe bond between mothers and their children. With stunning illustrations \nand a live accompaniment by North Oregon Coast Symphony musician \nShelley Loring on flute\, children and parents alike will enjoy the happy \nending. Children will learn more about the flute and piccolo as Loring \ndemonstrates her instruments. Children will be able to play a wind \ninstrument after the story. This event is free and open to children ages 3-5 \nand their adults. \nThe North Oregon Coast Symphony\, North Tillamook Library\, and Astoria \nLibrary have formed a partnership to bring live music and hands-on \nmusical instrument experiences to the northern coast of Oregon.
