DESCRIPTION:From the American Red Cross Newsletter: \n“The American Red Cross declared a national blood emergency on Monday\, August 5\, noting a shortfall of 19\,000 blood donations in the last month causing the blood supply to plummet by 25% since July 1. Now\, remnants of Hurricane Debby are complicating efforts to rebuild the supply. We need your help!” \nYour local Tillamook Elks Lodge #1437\, located at 1907 3rd St. will be hosting the next American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday\, September 11 from noon until 6 PM. This is a community service event and all individuals who can donate or wish to donate blood can participate. We encourage you to go online with americanredcross.org\, select your time slot\, complete the questionnaire and obtain your donor card your rapids rewards pass. Walk-ins are allowed\, however\, you may have an extremely long wait.
