Jerry Sutherland, Author, Bayocean: Atlantis of Oregon. Bayocean Peninsula forms the western edge of Tillamook Bay on Oregon’s northern coastline. Many recreate there, enjoying its pristine, natural environment. But it once hosted a thriving, upscale resort town—of which only the name remains. Jerry’s presentation will provide a look back at the dramatic story of Bayocean.

Music from the Renaissance to the present on historical and modern instruments will trace the evolution of the guitar through the ages. Important works, composers, technique evolution and guitar construction will be discussed to illuminate the rich history and roots of the instrument in Spain.
